A traditional
guesthouse, refurbished in a modern style (grit stoned floors etc.).
The rooms, richly decorated with Maramures carpets, are full of sunlight,
offering the visitor a great view to the pastured hills. In the morning,
opening the window, you can hear the murmur of the Botiza river, which
is passing 10m near the house. In the evening, the activities of the
village, compose a real dreamy scenery: peasants returning to their
houses, the "tired" song of the horse-drawn carts as if it
wanted to say: "ouch, another hard day, passed". As time is
advancing, the sounds of the village (the song of the roosters, the
moo of the cows, the barking of the dogs, the chirping of the birds)
are fading away one by one ...
Places: 6
Access by car: from the Botiza
entrance plate, go on about 850 m till the third wooden bridge over
the Botiza river (on your left). The guesthouse is on the right side,
right after a house of bricks and it has a signalling plate in front:
Pensiunea Petrus Iulia.
