A traditional guesthouse, having richly decorated interiors with traditional woollen carpets, towels and embroideries - a real return in time! In the bedrooms, the nice terracotta stoves complete this idea of Maramures authenticity. What a pleasure, especially in winter time, to hear the cracking fire in the fire place, to watch the flame shadows vividly playing on the walls, to tell stories about local habits over a glass of horinca (the authentic plum brandy)! In summer, you will find the much longed for coolness oasis after a full day of sunbathes, bathes and round trips on the hills and in the forest. Your hosts will direct or accompany you to a neighbouring sheepfold where you will have the occasion to taste specific products. Ms Dolca has a traditional loom and she will initiate you in this ancient art.
