A new wooden,
traditional, but at the same time modern building, for which the wood
workers of Maramures competed with themselves.
The interiors are warm, intimate, spreading a fresh wood fragrance over
interesting, harmonious volumes. The pillars of the terrace are carved
with traditional motifs. You can enjoy here a cold beer, enjoying the
perspective which opens to your eyes: green hills, meadows, smoking
chimneys, on a musical background made up by the rustle of the village,
the birds twitter, the noise of the fowls...
Your hosts are kind, wise people, who very well know the region and
the local traditions. Mrs. Manta is expert in wood berries preserves,
and, if interested, she will explain to you some of the secrets of the
recipes largely appreciated by sweets lovers.

Access by car: from the centre
of Botiza (the junction with Sasului Valley, past the new church), continue
on the main street (on the left bank of the Botiza river) about 600m,
pass the Town Hall, go on to the second curve; turn right behind Poienar
Guesthouse and continue for some more 100m, on the hill; the guesthouse
is on the right side of the road
