Covrig family welcomes you in a new house buil in a traditional style (wood and stone)with a beautiful vineyard arch and a large orchard, about 2000 sq. meters, placed away from the main road. The scenery of the green hills covered with orchards and pastures is distinct. It's a quite place, where you'll enjoy the fammmmmmily welcoming. The dining place outside is special: a shed (covered pavilion with splinter roof which can lift up-down, used in Maramures for hay storage), built and arranged specially on this purpose and equipped with wooden tables and benches. The house is endowed with modern rustic furniture, being decorated inside with traditional motives. The host, remarkably welcoming, always smiling, will delight you with specialities from Maramures from which "horinca" (plum brandy) won't miss. We offer mostly organic food; it's for sure you'll appreciate our home made cookies. Places: 10 Access by car: from the centre of the commune, opposite the main store, drive about 450m on Sugau street (asphalt road) and then at the crossroad, turn right and continue about 50m; the house is the third on the left side, it has a big Maramures carved wood gate at the entry in the courtyard.

		- barbecue or bonfire, fruits gathering in the orchard     - taking part to the farm activities (cows milking, hay harvest etc.)     - fishing, bathing at the river (about 50m far)     - hiking on the surrounding hills, crossing orchards and meadows     - organising parties with "ceterasi" - local violin players     - visits in the region: the Merry Cemetery in Sapanta, the wooden churches from Iza and Mara valleys, the Village Museum in Sighet etc.
