Two new wooden buildings, mixing the Maramures building style with modern elements to maintain the comfort you need in your holidays, located off the main road.
The interiors are warm, welcoming, bright. There is something different from the other regions, typical of Maramures: in a special room is gathered the whole dowry that the bride will receive from her parents on the wedding day.
The landscape is relaxing: quietness, pure air, nature. You will quickly feel the difference between this life and the noisy, polluted life of the city.
Your hostess is a kind, joyful woman, a great specialist in cookies. She will tell you recipes, village traditions, funny stories about the life of the little creatures of the courtyard. It is a pleasure to listen to her!
When leaving, you will regret that your holiday comes to its end and that you can't stay at least one extra day! But you will come again on the next occasion, that's for sure!

Access by car: arriving on the national road DN 18 from Baia Mare to Sighetu Marmatiei, in the centre of Vadu Izei commune, turn right in Sacel-Barsana direction following the Iza Valley (DJ118), and continue about 1,4km; the guesthouse is on the left side of the road and has a nice new carved Maramures wooden gate. and a signalling panel "CHAMBRES A LOUER-FREIE ZIMMER"
