A traditional
refurbished guesthouse, in the very heart of the village Sibiel. All
around, you can see green hills, forests, the summits of the mountains,
you can hear the tomtits, the bells of the opposite church calling local
people to the Sunday service. The landscape urges us to day-dreaming
and round trips from morning to evening. The grape arbour is a great
place for dining in summer evenings. On your return, you will find a
good meal, based on fresh products of the peasant farm, washed down
with traditional drinks: tzuica (plum brandy) and home-made wine.
For the children, we can organise school camps and trips, having as
programme discovering farm activities, round trips on the hills, visit
the Museum of the Glass Painted Icons and the village crafters.
The indoors are nice, the whole attic is made of wood, the windows are
double insulated. In the back courtyard, there is a wooden authentic
peasant house.
Your host is a dynamic, joking man, who is there for any request you
have or any advice you need. He is experienced in rural tourism: he
has been decorated with the medal of the best guesthouse manager in
Marginimea Sibiului.
